In an evening take feature many LowBall records, including, the hardest rain fall during game, the shortest pitch, the closest lighting strike, and most blood loss during a game due to insects, the Lagers beat the Loggers 22-13 to take first place in the Eastern League standings.

The Grounds Crew Union elected to strike this week after cutting off talks with the Commissioner of Lowball. Lonchiro stepped up and prepped the field, caused an unspecified amount of damage to the fence at Burnam Field when the DR field cutter he was using lost control, twice, damaging the mower in the second incident.

The weather and equipment repair was not the only drama for the evening. The Loggers (2-3) brought the tying run to the plate in the bottom of the 7th and 8th innings, officially making it a LowBall classic, both could not deliver. The Lagers Hot Rod's 9th inning grand slam off of t, the embattled commissioner himself, brought an end to any hopes of one last act of God. The 3-2 Lagers now sit atop the Eastern League standings.
